Welcome to Parkview Christian School’s Elementary page. I have worked at Parkview since 1998, serving in many different capacities, media specialist, reading tutor, 3 rd grade teacher, and now elementary principal. I graduated from the University of Nebraska with a major in Human Development and the Family with a teaching endorsement in Early Childhood Education. I continued to take classes and upgraded my teaching certificate to include all elementary education. In 2000 I received my Masters of Education degree with and endorsement in school library media. When I was asked to be the elementary principal I again took classes to add my administrative endorsement to my degree.

Parkview Christian Elementary School serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade. We use the A Beka curriculum throughout these grades while striving to meet the individual student's needs. This curriculum focuses on building a strong scriptural foundation for academic excellence and good character training. This foundation is centered on God and the order that He created in the universe. The reading is based on a strong phonics program starting with the pre-kindergarten students and continues through the elementary level. Training our minds to think in an orderly fashion is the basis of the arithmetic curriculum. The Bible lessons are very important to the Christian School curriculum and are taught in a specific and systematic way. The lessons are written in a narrative style and easy for the students to follow.

In His service,
